Design B100 Offstage Elevator System

Client: VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Palo Alto, CA

Paradigm is providing complete design and construction documents, as well as construction administration services, for two new offstage patient elevators and lobbies in Building 100, Main Hospital Basement, on the first, second, third, and fourth floors. These Palo Alto VAMC elevators will provide direct access to the Radiology, OR, Intensive Care Unit Third Floor and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit areas.

VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) is a major tertiary care referral center with three hospital-based divisions and a network of seven community-based outpatient clinics. VAPAHCS provides care within a large geographical region encompassing a 10-county, 13,500 square mile area. Approximately 272,000 veterans reside within VAPAHCS’ primary service area.
