Utilizing RCM and six sigma methodology, Paradigm established a customized Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) system, Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans, Predictive Maintenance (PdM) plans, streamlined troubleshooting techniques and visual maintenance measures. Efforts of improvement raised equipment uptime by an average of 42% in the first 2 years of implementation and increased the overall plant Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) by 14 days. Additionally, thanks to the data-based-decision-making approach to maintenance management, the staff was able to trim excessively stored spare parts by 22%.
