Remodel Pharmacy

Client: VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Fort Wayne, Indiana

Paradigm is providing full design services for this 3,000 SF Fort Wayne VAMC pharmacy remodel. Project scope includes:

• Create new Controlled Substance Vault through expansion or remodeling
• Relocate transaction window
• Install tube or transit system for moving prescriptions from vault to pick-up window
• Create an ante room for the IV Rooms: Oncology IV (hazardous) and IV (non-hazardous)
• Install laminar flow hoods in each room
• Renovate storage area to make use of vertical storage space
• Reconfigure/add workstations to existing space
• Relocate existing pharmaceutical equipment and/or allocate space for future equipment
• Provide more privacy for head pharmacist
• New lighting system
